About Me
Reed Graff was born in San Antonio, Texas and then raised just south in the small town of Hondo. A baseball and football player in high school, Graff began his sports media career during high school, serving as the sports editor for the school paper and running the board for high school football broadcasts at the local radio station, KCWM 1460.
He then attended Texas State University, where he majored in Mass Communications in order to pursue a career in sports media and broadcasting.
Graff began his sports media career at KTSW 89.9, the official radio station of Texas State University, where he held the position of assistant sports director. His duties included play-by-play and color commentary for Texas State University and San Marcos High School athletics, producing and hosting a sports-talk show and a podcast and working as a reporter for the KTSW blog. He worked and studied under Texas State broadcasters, Brant Freeman and Bill Culhane.
Graff also spent two years working as an amateur baseball scout through Evolution Metrix. In addition, he spent two years as a freelance sports reporter for Hays Free Press in Kyle, Texas.
He graduated in May of 2019 from Texas State University with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications and a Minor in Sport Psychology.
Graff began as the sports editor for The Snyder News in Snyder, Texas in June of 2019, where he serves a one-man sports crew covering Snyder, Hermleigh and Ira high school athletics and Western Texas College athletics.
Graff is married to the former Jesika Morrison.
