HERMLEIGH -- Kingdom Prep seized on Abilene Christian’s early turnovers and missed tackles to roar past the Panthers 62-24 on Saturday in a TAPPS Six-Man Division III state quarterfinal game at Cardinal Stadium.

The Warriors fell in the regular-season matchup vs. Abilene Christian earlier in the season, but left little doubt in the rematch.

“We’re feeling great,” Kingdom Prep coach Jeff Klein said. “Abilene Christian is a great team, and it was a great game last time we played them. Getting to play them again, we were able to execute our game plan really well.

"Our boys played great (Saturday). That was their best game by far this season.”
